Local Tattyreagh men stepping up to the mark at the Walled City Marathon on Sunday last was Sean Darcy 4.23hrs, Niall McKnight, Nigel Mullan both 4.17hrs, and Adrian Harley 4.23hr. Omagh Harriers running their 3rd magic mile at Youth Sport Omagh was run in near perfect condition in mid August with near forty runners taking to the track. Four laps of the 400metre track was what they had to do. In the first race Darragh Ward running in fine form winning the under 12 section

Organisers and runners were feeling the heat at the Tattyreagh 5mile/5km race on Saturday. 114 runners completed the 5mile and Foyle Valley’s Keith Shields was 1st over the line in a time of 26.05 mins with local Omagh Harrier runner Paul Barbour in 2nd place with 26.43 mins.
